Dr. William D. Breck
Dr. William D. Breck was the second superintendent in Regional School District 13, serving from 1991 to 2004. He was the principal of Frank Ward Strong Middle School from 1977 to 1981 and the assistant principal of Coginchaug Regional High School from 1975 to 1977. Bill's keen intellect and ready wit were appreciated by all who worked with him. He is perhaps best known for bringing the discipline of strategic planning to District 13 and ensuring that the model would continue long after his tenure as superintendent. His focus on curriculum, instruction, and student achievement helped to shape a district widely known for its excellence. Dedicated: 17 October, 2010 |
